We are an international NGO rebuilding lives for Syrian people through a network of projects and communities in Syria. For nearly five years now, we have been helping with education, building, supporting, campaigning - providing vital practical and direct support where it's needed, and run through a trusted local network of Syrian people for the benefit all Syrian communities in need. We achieve this through nearly 300 dedicated workers on the ground and managed from our bases in Jordan, Lebanon and registered headquarters in Gaziantep, Turkey; together delivering and planning 50+ humanitarian projects across different regions of Syria.
Olive Branch is funded and supported by individual donors, local and international NGO partners, and through partner fundraising charities in Germany and the UK.

Our work began in Darra during October 2012 out of a desperate human need to provide hope and relief. Children were the first priority, and with about $100 to provide for materials and help from volunteer teachers, the first project my room is my classroom began and paved the way for hundreds of children to restart their education.
Education and children's wellbeing remain our top priorities and we have developed projects to provide hope, relief and employment where it is most needed. As well as education and training, we have a mobile school, projects to empower women, agriculture and farming initiatives, and campaigns to raise awareness and rebuild hope and dignity.
